Any auto body supply shop should have a product made by SEM that is an adhesion promoter just for plastic.

I used Rust-Oleum plastic paint. I painting mine a year ago and have not had a problem with chipping or peeling. The paint is made for plastic. Home Depot or any hardware store that carries Rust-Oleum should have the product.

I used the Fusion paint for plastic. I painted my grills white where my Attak is the blue and white color scheme. Paint has held up very well and it does a nice job. Many colors to pick from. The screens are very easy to remove from the inside of the panels. Good luck!

Make sure you use a plastic primer (rest-oleum specialty plastic primer) and the above paint and you will be fine. Light coats are also very important.

I used Killz primer in a spray can, as recommended from my local hardware store, and then Fusion paint. I painted my vents last spring and the paint is still pliable and does not crack nor does it chip when you flex the vents. I flexed the side vents pretty good recently just to see if the paint was going to crack on me or not. I first tried Rust-oleum but didn't like the shade of red that it produced and found the Fusion red to be a better match to my red a-arms and graphics. So in reality I have primer, rust-o-leum red, and Fusion red on top and haven't experienced any problems so far. The Killz primer really sticks to the plastic and makes a great base to paint on top of.

i used rustoleum primer and white krylon paint i roughed the screens up a littlle then used very light coats. I can't figure out how to post pix on here sorry

If you want durability against stone chips and what not.. make sure to clear coat the paint when finished. And you won't have any chipping either!! Dupli color makes a decent clear coat found at any canadian tire.
