I went for my first real ride on my warrior today (around Mt. Katahdin) and I really like the sled, that is except for two things: 1. The suspension needs to be a little stiffer but I can handel that and 2. The parking break seems to be a little week.
What happened is I got to my friends house to pick him and his sled up and I though I saw the sled move back a few inches when I titled the trailer up. When we went to reload the sleds, I reloaded first, it did it again so I had to hold the normal break while he loaded.
So my question is 1. How strong should the parking brake be 2. How is it adjusted and 3. Can I get the regular type of brake lock that just holds the regular brake handel in the brake position, if so where is a good place to get them.
Thanks

welcome to the site.
1. super strong. shouldn't roll back or anything.
2. not difficult to adjust. my brother adjusted my dad's quite easily. someone here can give you step-by-step
3. never seen one, personally. once properly adjusted, you won't need anything like that.

When trailering I use a velcro strap around the brake lever as well as the parking brake.

Mountain Performance has one that uses the brake handle with a locking mechanism. I have a drop and roll with their tunnel so the stock E-brake is gone. I got tired of using zipties or velcro so I bought their kit. Works great.

If the park brake is adjusted correctly, it won't let the sled move. What I don't like about velcro around the brake handle or after market park brake kits is that it keeps a constant presure on the master cylinder and brake caliper. Eventualy the master cylinder or caliper may leak down, then there will be bigger problems.
Thats the problem with lots of torque if the brake is left on you wear down the brake but yes you can adjust it easily. Don't do it to often though dang things like $100 new.
