2016 RS Vector XTX 1.25 Lug wifes..2013 RS Vector LTX.. 2003 600 VMax Past Machines 3-2007 Attaks 1-2010 Vector LTX.. sorry no Stinkdoos or poo's cats.
I need the upper rear wheel spacer (yami calls it a bracket)# 8JB-47419-10-00 . This is the Aluminum spacer that holds the Upper Bogey wheel into the tunnel mounted bracket. A bolt goes thru the whole setup to hold the wheel on. I guess on the older machines like my Attak it was a shaft there inbetween the wheels.
When I put it back after doing some work on the cooler protectors I must of forgot to tighten or put LocTite and it has disappeared. Bolt, wheel, etc.
Anyway no one stocks the spacer and they say it has to come from Japan. How long does it take to get these parts from Japan? I guess I'll have to dig out the old Vmax and get it going for the wife. Too bad..get spoiled on the LTX.

Call Kevin at Port, he could give you the best estimate. If Yamaha doesn't have it at their Wisconsin part warehouse, then i'd say it's back ordered at a supplier, which means all bets are off and most likely will be over a month. I'm going through the same issue trying to get a P-G-P primary spring.

it will anywhere from 5-10days from japan sometimes there will air ship parts from japan to yamaha USA

Ship a $16 part air from Japan for me?? I hope so.

Capt let me know what ya need as I pulled the mono shock skid on my attak. I go to white mountains ever weekend so if I have the part you need I can bring up north.. save ya waiting for special order.

Thanks..But the part I need is # 32 in the diagram. They changed this back in 09. Apex ltx,Vector ltx have the same part. The Attak has a long shaft going between the upper wheels instead.
Hopefully we'll get some snow tommorrow. Haven't ridden out of the house this season. Been going to Nash Stream,SDR's.[/img]

You might be able to get away with using a regular wheel support from your suspension rails. I'd do it in a bind.

I'm working in that now. I have supports from the midwheel kit.

The season has been so short so we don't want to miss the rest of it if we can. We have the Vmax but it's not the same. Wife has trouble keeping up with me on the Attak. Vmax fishtales like crazy.

Any machine shop could build that real cheap.

I just ordered some parts from kevin and one had to come from japan. Less than 5 days it was over the water and now on its way. Reasonable shipping as well and with part prices at such a difference and the dollar almost at par I will be a return customer at port-yamaha again. Not to mention Kevin is pretty good to deal with.

I ordered it thru my local dealer as to save shipping since Kevin would have to send it across the country. I called him first off since he is straight shooting. I got my wheels from him. He knew exactly what I needed.
With that said I found some mounts and modified them with some parts from a hardware store and just got finished with the temp install. I had to install the plastic spacers in the wheel for the mounts to work. They were off the mid wheel kit I took off my ATTAK. The mounts pressed in on the plastic spacers (knock outs). I wasn't sure if this would keep the bearing free so I put the rig in the vice and tightened simulating bolted in place. The wheel still spun freely so I went with it. Wheel is centered in place were it should be.
When it comes from Japan it comes. When it comes I'll post back just FYOI on these Japan to US orders. Mean time the wife is going to be happy.
