Sled is a 06 attak and the right side rail is messed up due to a loose wheel. Should I replace the rail or get wielded to build it back up? I need to get another spacer and bolt. I think I can use the bolt for one more ride?

Any good welder would be able to repair it to like new condition in about a 20 minutes. If you were closer, I would do it for you for $20. A new rail is going to cost you a lot more.

just get it welded. no brainer really... you could put that spacer back on real tight and keep on running really... and replace when you get the new one. I have welds/plates welded onto mine... rails are not that strong... i've bent them back into shape with a couple big wrenchs before.

I was thinking of tighting it too? I ordered parts, I have take the skid out to put that darn bolt in. Ugh!

Why do you think that you have to take the skid out to put that bolt in? I would think that if you loosen the track tension you should be able to get it in just fine. Am I missing something?

It's the bolt by the w arm, the arm is in the way I think? Can I get that second wheel bolt out without taking the skid out?

Mmmm....not sure since I have an Apex which has a different suspension than the Attak. Perhaps an Attak owner can confirm.

20 min to take the skid out and 30 min to put it back in and tension track. Instead of removing the pivot arm lower bolts and trying to get them back in.

disconnect limiter strap, loosen track, remove 2 rear bolts in tunnel. lift back of sled and push suspension forward enough that arm clears bolt... suspension does not have to come out....
