I was just told that i could get a chip that would give me 15-30 more hp could this really be true? the only chip that i have seen online is from Magnum tuning and it is called Dyno-boots adjustible performance chip. So what i really want to know if anyone has ever tried these or other like and do they really give you the extra power and do they do any damage to my sled. please let me know.

thanks

so your saying not to go with a chip but with the power commander instead? how much ph did you gain for a PC? and how hard are they to install and were did you get on our were can i get one from a good site?

Those E-Bay chips do not work. Been discussed on here ALOT.

You want a good mod, Check out Ulmer Racing's Trail performer package.

http://www.ulmerracing.com/ check under Engine Performance on the left.

Allen is a great tuner and has one of the best customer service reputations out there.

Im new to this fuel curve stuff, and from what i seen thats what the PCIII adjusts so what dose that give me, is it more hp all the time or do i just get the abillity to get the more hp out of my sled in most snow conditions?

if you want more power all the time deffinately get a hold of ulmer racing, his performance package has been proven time and time again on here. all these sleds want is more air, more fuel, and more timing. ulmers package has all 3 of these things. with this stuff on your sled it will easily smoke any stock sled like yours! the install isnt that bad because its a simple plug and play install, two harnesses get conected and a ground, no wire cutting or splicing. plus, if you buy the pc111 and ignition module from ulmer racing he will put a map in for the mods you have on your sled so its pre-programed for you, if your not sure about this stuff i strongly reccomend you do NOT try to adjust the box, allen has some great maps so you shouldnt have to mess with it. also, if you do get stuck the people at ulmer racing are the nicest and most helpful people you have ever met in the snowmobile industry!!!
