i've herd of guys actually using a cherry bomb exhaust, never did find out about performance numbers or if there were issues with not enough back pressure, would be louder then hell though.

X2 that on back pressure.

ya a cherry bomb glass pack would have almost 0 backpressure, but a cherry bomb turbo has a chambered exhaust

Wanna go loud?
I got a nice polished D&D can from my Kawasaki ZRX 1200r that I'll sell ya' for $100, it'd probally fit right on the pipe (maybe fab up a small mounting bracket to bolt up to it for support).
It's just to loud on the street (for me), switched to a "semi chambered" carbon fiber Micron with a nice growl

I hear Excell and Schmidt bros have some nice sounding exhausts. Also hear they are built right/proven. I don't have any experience with them myself though.

Rigidone has the Excell pipe on both of his Phazers, he'd be informative for that (maybe)- Sorry Tony!
Then ask him why we turned around in the middle of a trail after being informed a LEO sitting down the trail a ways, LOL...

stay away from the cheap stuff for a bolt on. best bolt on that's not too loud is Schmidt pipe, for a decent price as right now the dollar is over$ 1.05 US.
Excell is sure nice but way more money. Seriously pitch in the extra money for a Schmidt over the ultraQ.
I totally love my Aaen pipe (re-packable), but it wasn't cheap either.
If I had to do it again it would be Schmidt with his rainbow tip option. If you buy anything from the US, insist on USPS for shipping, I can explain if you'd like. Good luck

Excells pipe is the way to go.. iv had mine on since 2007 and it looks and sounds like new.. i have never been issued a ticket and have been thru plenty of check points... it is re-packable, and i did check the packing mid season.. it did not need to be repacked, which shows it is not over heating and melting the fiberglass packing.. my pipe has almost 4,000 miles on it..
