Hello everyone,

Im looking for any options for a phazer mtx track it has to be a 14X144X1.25 or 1 inch lug. We traded a phazer mtx in at our dealership in wisconsin and everyone is skeptic about the tall lug in the snow we get in southern wisconsin. So what i was wondering if anyone has swapped tracks to get the 2 in. paddle down to 1 in. or even 1.5 in.

Thanks for the replys.

They (Yamaha) offer a 1.5" as an option when ordering the sled. Also you want to adjust the clutching. See Attached doc.

I am thinking of the doing the same on my Phazer MTX and am wondering if a 15 x 144 x 1.25 will work? from the meassuring I have done it looks like it should work. We are putting an 1.75 on a Nytro xtx and we are going to try the 1.25 off the Nytro on the Phazer. Will post when we have the results of our track switch aroo.

14.25" is as WIDE of a track the will fit in a phazer, it isn't TOO hard to trim 1/2" off each side with a table saw and a helper.

OK, your is officially the widest I've seen, previously it was a 14.375" but that guy had some rubbing issues in the tunnel. I suppose if the drivers are dead center and do I bit of clearancing you can go a touch wider. I know there is NO way a 14.625 wide would go in my 09', I have less than a 1/4" on each side of my Freeride at the narrowest part.

Thank you that is exactly what im looking for. a new track option so our dealership can sell it and it still looks nice.

Call Mcdonald, and see what he did to his '07. I think they just cut down the lugs and it works fine. Your Unc. has the number. Oh, by the way, the snow is mega deep out here right now. Just so you know!

hey thanks mark, I talked to my dad about doing that but he didn't think someone looking for a used sled would be to keen on purchasing a sled if the track was "cut." that's why we were looking for an aftermarket solution.

Oh and i cannot wait to be out there 8 days and i will see for myself how deep it really is. Just so you know haha.
