I've been looking around and trying to decide what to do for a replacement rear bumper. The stock 2007 sucked. The tabs that attached the snowflap were flimsy and broke easy. I then went to the GYTR and that was a piece of crap. You can see both of these posts for more info:

Anyhow, I finally decided to give the Skinz bumper a try. I have to say, the mount for the snowflap is MUCH more solid than the offerings from Yamaha. In fact, the bumper that I got has the snowflap mount welded on instead of riveted. I opted to re-fab my existing tin from the end of the tunnel instead of using the braces from Skins because it leaves a big gap at the end of the tunnel. At any rate, I give the Skinz bumper a thumbs up. I'll include some pictures incase anyone is interested.

;)!

It's from my 4 stroke moto bike... I haven't remove it from when I washed the sled. I still have plastic bags rubber banded over the intakes in the airbox! I do like the quality of the bumper... the next person who rears ends me is gonna do some damage to their sled!

:die

How did you get the black exhaust cover to work on your moto pipe? I put my moto pipe on mine and my old man made me take it off cause even though it wasnt much louder then stock, land owners and other nature freak riders would bitch about it.

The stock bumper(s) are real soft when you get hit eh. I've been rear ended and a person backed into the front of my sled. Both bumpers got pretty dinged up.

how much was the bumper? Royal Distributing has it for 130 Canadian
