I have the 07 Mountain lite, and the bottom rail on the right side of my skid has a warped hole in it. Right where the spring bracket sits on the rail. Now, the question is do I fix the hole and get the new bracket and deal with it for another year or so? Or, do I get a new rail for the skid? I don't even know where to get the one rail. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You could fix the hole for cheap. If you would get a rail you could get it from port yamaha or ebay. Did the bolt come lose.

Would you be able to post a picture of the damage?

Any reputable fab shop could weld the hole shut and re-drill it for you on the cheap. A guy a work with replaced 8" of the bottom part of the rails where the Phazer likes to burn up slides.

The bolt came loose sometime last year. I didn't notice it until the spring came loose and wrapped up into the track. The track and the spring were good, but I lost most of the parts from the block and wheel. I got a replacement wheel, and finished the season on it. I'll try and get pictures this week and post them. The only probably with welding the and redriling, which is still an option, is I might anodize the rails for a bit of color. Just haven't decided yet.

Alright, after sitting and debating of the summer on whether to get new rails or just have it welded, I decided I was going to get some new rails. However, the price I just got from Ice Age was a bit on the high side of what I want to pay. I have heard great things about them, but just out of my budget. Is there any other company that makes rails out there? Let me know. Having the hole welded and redrilled is looking better and better all the time.
Oh, and I am still working on pictures.

Rails are expensive. I think yami replacements are about the same price as ice age. do yourself a favor and weld up your hole and redrill and save your money. wait till you get a better suspension and get rails at the same time. you would probly save money on a package deal.

You could drill out the hole and insert a bushing. That would be a cheap easy fix.
