It's a night and day difference in deep performance...
The stock clutching seems to have fallen right in place with the new gearing - right in the peak HP range and decent clutch temps.
The sled still only has about 200 miles on it, so it is far from broken in. I think trail top end is about 60 MPH (I didn't pay much attention- sorry), and track speed in bottomless powder was about 32-35 MPH.
It was a bit low in the deep, but it isn't broken in and we were riding right at 10,000 feet. That advertised 80 HP was probably about 35...
A Timbersled Mtn Tamer or rear Fox float is about the only other mod I think it needs to do well in the deep... 'cept maybe a huffer!!!!

I know you have those beautiful wheels and extensions but why not slide the skid back 3.5", fix the approach angle and not have to stretch or worry about hitting the drivers with the rail tips. There is another post on this modification with no ill effect....something to consider......approach angle is everything in deep snow. Love the color....they look so nice in person....black and Orange rocks!

First of all, this is a 153" track which requires a 4.5" extension - not 3.5"
Secondly, the approach angle on the Phazer is really not too bad at all from the factory. It could be less, but it gets to a point where the work outweighs the performance benefit.
Point 3 - I wanted 8" rear wheels. Those are not an option without rail extensions or rails that are made specifically for 8" wheels.
Last, but certainly not least - We sell parts!

What about the Nytro driver alignment? What did you line up the Nytro drivers with?

The extros were lined up with the track windows, and the standard drivers are lined up in the usual position on the track cogs.
If I had to do it over, I would omit the standard drivers and just utilize the extros...
