Picking up my 07 RTX on Thursday!

4 more hrs! I cant wait to ride it! I've never been so excited to get a sled!
 
I love my RX1 but I just picked up an 07 RTX last Friday and I haven't but a lot of miles on this sled yet but it is a blast to play with. I am sledding all next week and I can't wait to ride this sled hard. I think it is going to a great sled. I might take my skies of the RX1 and try them on the RTX. This sled really jumps when you hit the gas.
 
put 400 miles on so far and no complaints! This sled fricken rocks! I love it!
 
YES!!!!! I put 1,400 on my 07 RTX so far!! LOVE IT!!!!!

I did not find that they helped at all,now i only ran them in the middle hole,which hole did you put them in,its funny but the sled when full of snow with the bump stops in place,seemed to be squashed more down to the ground,and only when you grabbed the rear bumper and pull it back up to full extension was the rebound apparent,i am not at all impressed with this skid,my 06 mono has it all over it as of now,maybe with some more monry and finding the golden pieces to fit into this new puzzle,just maybe it will come togeather like i thought i was getting when i traded in my 06 apex,oh its way slower than the 06 to,adding the 23 top has killed it in the snowy trails,maybe on ice only it is faster,now it dosent rev as high,with out making some adjustments,if i just stick in stock clutching it is a slug,as far as it ripping up the revs,after installing my supertips back in it is better but no champ yet!!
 
Just did my first oil change. Took 3 hrs to change the oil and the filter! Oh well i still love this sled! The acceleration is simply amazing!
 
I have 755 miles so far this is what I think. Sled is simply amazing, the power is awesome and the handling can be good if set up right. I'm still playing with the floats to find the sweet spot. I had it handling awesome and then i swapped out the 4" carbides for 6" carbides and the extra bite made it tippy. The sled gets about 12-13 MPG which I'm hoping will get better. Overall I love this sled and I cant wait to ride it some more!
 
Mine has just been the wheels. 1,500 happy happy miles!! WOW What a sled!!

Are you guys running studs? Im assuming that is what's ruining the wheels?

I think what ruins the wheels is they can't handle high speeds. It seems the rubber delaminates if you ride too fast.

Also, this season (again) I ran 04 RX-1 wheels while some of my buddies ran stock or accessory wheels (with 6005 bearings). Once again, theirs are in very bad shape (many of the stock ones delaminated and the bearings are all shot), but my trusty 04 RX-1 wheels are still going strong. These aren't all new either. I took most of them off my old snowmobile and installed them on the RTX.
 
I rode my new RTX last week and put 1800 miles on it. I love the sled all except the way it back shifts. Any suggestions?
