The GYT-R shocks are very good. I am very impressed with the ones on the Apex GT. Very easy to adjust and you can feel a difference. They have rebound and compression damping and should not need a rebuild for a number of years. The Ohlins are very trick and have a great bling factor and if your are racing or a super hard rider they might be slightly more adjustable in smaller increments. I would suggest the GYT-R unless you want the ultra cool factor.

I had the same decision last winter and went GYT-R because all the parts are available in the US. There are some parts that can only be ordered from Sweden for the Ohlins. The other thing, if I emember correctly, is that the Ohlins only had compression adjustment while the GYT-R's have both rebound and compression.
The ride of the GYT-R's are mush, much better and controllable than the stock Soqi's I had.
