Just got my pilot skis in the mail, what is the best way to install the aluminum retainers that hold the handle to the ski ?

laid mine on the vise and gave her a wackwith a hammer. only hit my fingers 5-6 times

Use a c clamp works great!

I actually didn't use them..I re-used the yamaha bolts..I just thought there would be added strength there..Hopefully I won't need a tow but ya never know...

I reused my Yammi handles, narrowed the handle to fit on a grinder. But my pilots came from a friend with yellow handles, they had to go. LOL
