When those of you who mounted pilot skis on your nytros, what did you set the toe out at (if any)? and did you shim the ski at all to get more of the carbide on the ground as opposed to just the front of it? If so, how much did you shim and what did you use to shim it? Thanks.

I think I toed my skis out 1/4 inch and I shim under the back of the rubber to bring the front edge of the carbide off the pavement.
For the shim, I picked up some plastic furniture "Wobble Stoppers" at Princess Auto. They fit perfect for the Pilots. I just screwed them to the bottom of the rubber.

I just bolted mine on...I used Precision ski rubbers off the ZX chassis. No shims, and didn't change the toe.

I just picked up my 5.7's today, and I got the ZX rubbers. I noticed the rubbers are higher on one side, does the higher side go toward the front of the ski or the back? I assume the high side goes to the back in order to help keep the tip down but.....
