Put the first 50 miles or so on today since the rebuild and revalve. I worked with Bruce at Pioneer and he set the front shocks up for me and worked on the rear skid too. He revalved both shocks and we decided to put a heavier front skid spring in. Definitely a BIG difference in the small stuff. Can stay seated more if I want although i stand most of the time anyway. The few jumps I could hit we're smallish - only maybe three feet high but it landed very smoothly - great. The big culverts were hard as they were mostly dirt on the other side, no snow pack and it seemed a little soft on those hits when I was going fast. I'm going to wait until I can actually hit some snow packed moguls, but am thinking I'm going to have to turn up a couple clicks on the skid shock - but not much. It's pretty close to perfect. Many fhanks and kudos to Bruce at Pioneer. And thanks to SleddingFarmer for convincing me to give the revalve a try. IMO, it is worth the dough!

Same good results with Pioneer and Goodwin. I cant afford Hygear. Glad it worked it for you!

I also put on my first miles on the new revalve from Pioneer. The snow was minimal and hard but the sled seemed very different. I didn't get as much feedback through the bars and I found myself bracing for some bumps but the front end soaked them right up. I can't wait for more snow. So far I think the revalve was worth twice what I paid for it. Another Thanks to Bruce from me!!

I had Bruce Revalve my shocks to, I havent had any riding time yet but after reading your reviews I feel even more confident having gone with Pioneer.

On a note about Bruce, he is probably one of the most stand up guys I have dealt with in awhile, I sent him my fox evol X shocks that I bought on ebay to have them valved. He admitted to not having the right tool to completly take them apart and noted how clean the fluid was, he recommended putting them together ridng them and then seeing if they would need revalved. He sent them back to me and never charged me a dime. For me I will never send my shocks anywere else!!

Bruce did mine before last season, and he talked me into some pilots. Everything worked out great. Rode like a new sled. Pilots do push a little in the powder, but overall I like them.
