Posted this over in the General as well. I found some push type fasteners that are almost identical to the OEM Nytro ones. These have a slightly larger head.....20mm as opposed to the 18mm. They can be found at Fastenal and other places and are an Au-ve-co item.

Au-ve-co p/n 19239
Fastenal p/n 0162683
Honda p/n 91512-SX0-003

Paid $10 for 25.

ty vm. i just went in and paid 2$/per * 3 at the local yama dealer.. and gasped a bit at that price. really, how does a 3 cent item turn into 2$? i'm not puting the blame 100% on the dealer here either...but come on. i know first hand snowmobiling expensive, but why are we being robbed?

Thats just a small example I guess. I'm sorry for your sake I didn't post this the same time as I put it in the General forum. We just have to get the word out on this stuff so we can all save some money.

I just bought 10 of em from Yamaha for the tool box. I do not remember what I paid, but I did not think of em as overly expensive. I do have to say though, my dealer treats me really well. And I know there, items are sold Yamaha's price or less.

NAPA has them as well...they are a nice fit...and I think it is $3 for 8...

will have to go get the Fastenal ones though, that is a good price and qty... And since I am doing a complete tear down right now, will be a good time to get them all the same style etc.

They may be the same thing. Ones I found are made by Au-ve-co to replace OEM Honda fasteners. Nice thing is that they have 2 relieved areas around the edge that make it easier to get the screwdriver blade under the center pin.

fastenal's price is ~$15 per 25. $.61/per

i'm going to check napa, as i don't really need 20+ extras layin around. lol

none the less, thanks for the info/option! good stuff.
