Please give me a lesson on stock rear suspension terms.

"FRA to maximum,
Main spring preload to minimum,
lower nylon washers to half thickness,
straps in a hair,
front spring preload reduced"

I have no idea what the FRA is, the lower nylon washers, the straps are, etc. If someone could give me a lesson that would be great. Also, any reccomendations for settings for 2 people on the sled(370 lbs total).

FRA is the gizmo that allows the shock mounting point (rear) to move up/down a bit. It changes the shock to be stiffer or softer.

Main spring preload, look at the collar on the same shock that has the FRA. It's the one laying flat in the center of the skid..now look at the rear end of the spring. See that collar? It can turn, and has little steps on it. Changing this changes the preload of the spring. (BTW, adjusting this without the pioneer performance wrench intended for that app is just crazy, best $15 I've spent).

The straps are near the front. You'll see them vertical, then they bend 90 degrees and there are threaded adjuster rods.

The washers are near the rear on the transfer control rods. You can see the top and bottom have a washer.

Go to this page, then look at the bottom, adjustments->Rear Suspension.

I can't speak for the 03 RX1, but isn't that a single person sled? I'm not sure you'll get enough adjustment. Plus the 2nd person is going to add quite a rearward weight bias.
