Zip tie both shocks and let go off the pressure until it almost bottoms out while riding.

Pretty much on, not sure if you'll be able to or not with the ressi's on there but, o-rings work as well, it will slide up and indicate how much travel you have used. I would say if you cruise, soften them up (clickers and air pressure) till you use all but maybe 5mm of travel available. If you ride aggressive bumps, leave maybe 20mm for that surprise washout that can happen. These front shocks are probably the best shocks Yamaha has put on a front end to date. I know ohlins are nice, but for the purpose of this sled I prefer these. The valving on the stock setup is pretty good for trail, start catching decent air or jumping the sled and you'll need to stiffen it up a bit, even at full firm on the clicker.
I had run pressures all over the map, it really depended on the conditions and type of riding, groomed trail, between 50-60, mixed bag 60-75, rougher trails 70-90, back field snoX 125-140.

75 psi with front end in air. Compression set one third of range from softest setting. Rebound set two clicks from soft. Ride and fine tune compression settings to your liking, you will notice one or two clicks of valving adjustments.
Ran 85psi last season on Float X, about 8 clicks out comp, about 4 in on reb. Back to coils this year with Hygear full monty.

I think you'd get far better advice by contacting Eric with the race program. That front end is completely different than the stock Nytro front thus it will require a totally different set up.
