What was the problem with the sled?

multiple things....
something was burning real bad for awhile...adjusted the belt and got better...issues with the rear suspension....and probably the biggest issue is it shakes real bad. I guess its a problem since last year with the model but they have not figure out how to stop it. Vibrations right up thru the steering column....and this is the 700, likely worse with the 900.

It would be easier and less embarassing for the Polaris riders to remove the hoods at the beginning of the season. That way it will be faster to work on the engine and clutch.

Sorry to tell you guys but Yamaha has problems as well. I was broke down on the trails last Saturday night with a broken jackshaft (RS Vector). According to my dealer they were not notified by Yamaha Canada of the "Service Bulletin". What a joke, service bulletin! I think a broken jackshaft is a recall.... Anyway, apparently I am the one who brought it to their attention. The dealer did fix the problem under warranty but an apology is not enough for getting stranded 120kms out in the woods. I guess you find out how valued your business is when all they say is sorry you had to travel 200km's to pick you sled up! Planning on purchasing a new sled next year, not sure if it's going to be a Yamaha this time. Too bad if they loose the business due to customer service!!
All the manufactures have their problems, Yamaha included!
