popping sound

i have an rtx and ihave done these mods hauck pipe cr10eks ulmerstage 1 clutch kit 23t gear an open air lid kit from ebay and a hauck fuel controller but everytime i nail it wide open i get a sound like its hitting the rev limeter what could it be could the belt be slipping is it too lean and it also seems like when i hit 80 it struggles to go faster

When you hammer it and let off does it pop?

no only when i hammer it especially when im on a road at 20 mph and wide open it it does it but then stops and pulls. its like a low end thing

I would get a hold of Hauck, sounds like the Fuel controller may need to be fine tuned.

Sounds like it is going lean! Bump up the the fuel controlor or you can try and bump up the tip in circut on the sled it's self.
