I am still looking for a replacement track for my MTX 153. I have a line on a used Challenger 2.25". The guy selling says its ported. I have no knowledge with ported tracks. The only thing I know is that Doo put them on the summits for awhile and went away from them again. Will the porting hurt me in flotataion? We all know that the Nytro's aren't the lightest thing out there. I am 6'6" & 260#. Please give me your thoughts.

If you get a good deal on it and it is in good shape I would say go for it. Based on what I have seen it doesn't really affect performance one way or the other overall (snow conditions, etc.)
SkiDoo did some testing and I can't remember the exact distrance but the non ported tracked sleds would climb about a 150ft 0r a 150 yards higher then the identical sled with a ported track.

Pro, I have a hard time believing that... Not doubting you, just what Doo claims.
Anyways, the biggest benefit is how well it keeps the skid clean. I also feel that it helps with reducing slide wear.
