TY 4 Stroke Master
My friend may have blown his engine. This is the first I have heard of any problem with these engines. I will keep you guys posted of what they find he was just riding normal too with his wife. 03 RX-1 Shorty

It looks like the bearings are gone in the lower end. Bummer but its under warranty.

Try to get details of the failure..the bottoms are super strong..I know, I've got a crank and rods and bearings sitting next to my computer to remind me to not hit logs without a skid plate, and lose the oil from a hole in the sump cover without stopping. I can't imagine one lunching all by itself, but they are tight..no oil, and they lock pretty quickly. Must have had an oiling problem, if it locked on the bottom. Keep us updated.
