My Apex died on the trail last weekend, the fuel pump fuse blew. Has anyone had a simular problem with their Apex? Is it possible that the fuel pump is on its way out, and the blown fuse could be a fore warning the the windings on the fuel pump could be failing? Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

It is common for the relay to freeze, but I have not heard about too many fuses blowing or the pump going out.

Have under 4000 miles on 2006 apex, weather was in mid twenties, late afternoon just before dark.

Possible that wires are getting short circuit. I would check all wires and connections under the seat.

checked the wire harness for shorts, none, removed seat to check for shorts, none found. Has anyone had there fuelpump fail?
