Possible to fit a 16" wide track in 2006 APEX?

Maybe this topic have been discussed before but I couldn't find it when I searched. I'm helping a friend out extending his 2006 APEX to 136". We were thinking about going for a 16" wide track insted of original 15". Is that possible? How much clearence would be left?
