Potentially selling my 05 RX1 ER

Why are you guys getting rid of your RX-1's so soon? Are you unhappy withthe sleds or are you trading up to 06 models?

Thinking of trading up.

The 05 is an awesome machine - best sled I've ever owned by far.

2005

almost rx1 nice try but your math is off. i,m not going to get into the financing part but you lost me on the 5% off 0% interest? if the dealer gives you 8700.00 and the new sled is 12500.00 you pay the difference + both taxes. = 3800.00 + 15%= 4370.00

I had the cash to buy the sled, but the dealer wouldn't give me any break on a cash sale. So instead I took the 0% and 0 payments for a year and invested the money at 5%. The $625 profit effectively comes off the price of the sled.

When I spoke to NE Bob a few weeks ago, he had 20k miles on his '03, and was intending to run up at least another 15k on it, probably more.

His track was replaced around 15k miles (no studs) with a Ripsaw and IIRC, that was about his biggest expenditure so far on the machine.

I swapped with an RX '03 on the same ride (for my Warrior) with an M10 and Simmons, and it seemed every bit as solid at 8k miles as my Warrior at 1.5k.

His track went at 7.5k miles with a ripped stud, cost him a new track, welded heat exchanger and some re-studding.

IF he gives you $8,700 for your sled he will charge full list for the new one so the difference will be close to $5,000 plus tax or $5,750 cost. Plus don't start your figuring until you have a signed contract. As I said $5,000 in my original post if you are lucky.
