RX-1snow

I just got back from 150 km ride in approximmately 3 feet of fresh powder. I was very suprised at how well this thing would start off and drive through deep snow without getting stuck!
I have 1.25 lug and control rods and limiters set for extra weight transfer so the nose of the sled stayed up easily.
I went up a logging rode slight uphill with 2-3 feet of powder at WOT and held it pinned for at least a full minute but the RPMs wound not climb higher than 9200 or 9300. Is this normal??
When i'm on hard pack, my RPM's go to 9400 and slowly climb to 10300. I'm no expert but if peak HP is at 10300, shouldn't your sled reach this rpm immediately to get the most out of your sled? Maybe HH are in order? I am also considering Freddy's filter kit as well. My only mods to engine are green springs and CR10Ek plugs.
All suggestions and comments are welcome. Thanks

I'm impressed taking a shorty into 3 feet of powder
I was under the understanding that we'd just get stuck! comforting to know before i head to Idaho next month
Do you think the different track made it possible I still have the stock pos which is fine around here where the snow is only an inch deep

I think the 1.25 inch track helped the most as well as the suspension set up. If you quickly feather the throttle it will slowly start to move and then you can go . We get lots of powder in western newfoundland, canada. So i guess this powder maneuverability matters to me.
