I have the 2008 nytro fx. I added the k@n filters, stock header with a hauck muffler. What should I use, the power commander or the hauck fuel manager system??? any input would be helpfull.

For KNNs you will need a Fuel controller. Ulmer has a good program for the PC for KNNs and a muffler.

I have the Power Commander and it works great.
Especially if you plan on adding headers some day.shadow44

I would go with a Power Commander over the two as there is a ton more support, maps etc for it....finding numbers for Haucks stuff is alot more difficult, especially if you are running a certain combo...just not alot of guys using it

way easier to tune the fuel accelerator , no computer needed , need a new map , need more $$, if you don`t have computer available then what? , not many people writing different maps for the power commanders (or at least you don`t see anyone giving them up. check the thread for them , just my 2cents (have both, and personally feel the fuel accelerator is more user friendly for the average rider ) Good luck .

Maps are easy to find. There are a pile of maps on this site alone. Just check out the following thread.

Here is another site with Power Commander Maps as well.

I'm just saying that there are a lot of maps out there for a lot of applications. For a Nytro Map on a PCIII, just send a PM to "HURRICANE". That's Dave at Hurricane Performance, he's the one that set mine up.
The Power Commander web site has lists of Distributers, Tuning centers, and even Tech Support to help you out. It doesn't get much easier than that! I'm sure Hauck Racing even has a Map for the PCIII. It's one of the most common fuel controllers out there.
Snopro,
I'm not selling you on the PCIII, I'm just saying that they are very user friendly and applicable to almost every application with the right map. And map's are NOT hard to find. Good luck!

I ran almost the same setup last season on my 08 Nytro,Only I used a Barkers slip on. Power commander worked great, easy to install and I think I still have the map for filters and slip-on. Huge differnce over stock power wise.
