I am on the road. I bought the powermadds at home & while getting my 1st service done I asked the dealer to put them on. He said that when he put them on that they hit the windshield badly. I really like the idea of the handguards to keep the wind off my hands & I bought the mirrors as well. I hope that you guys can tell me how they can be made to fit the 07 attak with the mid shield, otherwise I will need to try to return them. WHAT suggestions do you have for me. With mid shield who has made them work, I noticed a lot of the guys here with them have the low shield. Please help.

I just put them on My 07 Apex with stock shield and they fit fine. Only time it will hit the windshield is at full turn and just slightly.

If I place them a little higher up esposing the brake lever under the Guard, should it make a big difference ?

I tried mine up high but the wind comes up from the bottom and your fingers get real cold. I got a set of Roxx mounts they mount to rising part of the bar. That way you do not have to move your controls inward.
Will try them out today.

Here you go. I added the black set screw, I am going to replace it with a regular one.
