Ran an 03 RX1 to over 15000 miles, never touched the primary, rebuilt the secondary twice.

What parts of the primary are you guys cleaning every year?

I do a blow gun cleaning every couple rides and do a tear down cleaning every year.

I remember the suit, I bought it hoping it would fit me but I was too fat.

Certain dishwasher detergents are corrosive on some metals like aluminum, so I would be uneasy about using that method.
Is removal the only way to properly clean the primary? I have taken the cover off and removed the weights and rollers but have never removed the full clutch.

Blow it out with the compressor and wash it but, make some homemade tools and take it completely apart every couple thousand miles. You can clean and pollish all critical surfaces. No substitute for this level of cleaning.
