Has anybody put a pro action (nitro) skid in an 06 apex - looks like an easy switch.

The pro-action is not that bad if they are valved properly. Yamaha was so far out in left field on the calibration it isn't funny. The problem is there is only one guy I know who can do it properly.

I guess the 2000+ miles I have put on my sled since the re-valve have been a figment of my imagination. Sorry for bringing it up. You guys are the experts. Keep spending all your money on M-10' s and Experts.

It is not the shocks the basic design geometry of the NO ACTION is wrong.

Believe it or not the Proaction worked well for me only in the 136" form on my warrior with adjustable rebound dampaning. If setup properly it flatout rocked. However, weight transfer was not there like other skids!

my proaction stretched to 136 in my viper wasn't too bad. alot better than in 121 form. no weight transfer though. either way the pro action sucks.
bought a proactive skid out of a vector, gonna put that in this summer/fall. can't wait to try the proactive in my viper.

I'm not saying stretch your 121" to 136" proaction to achieve better results. viper or rx-1 did not have the dampaning adjustments you cuuld dial it to your liking like the warrior did. IMO, the warrior skid performed and behaved way better than any other 121" proaction due to the combination of it's length and shock adjustments.
