I have a 2018 50th, 137, studded Winder.
This sled has a Precision EFI 230 tune, TP holeshot helix, TP springs, 911 clutch cover. Secondary spring is on 3 and 1 and the primary weights are set as per TP. On the weekend my buddy’s STOCK winder had no problem keeping up with me. I am seeing a max speed of 172 km/hr (106.7 mph). Any thoughts?

I'd put the stock stuff back in the clutches and see what happens. It should over rev a bit but I bet you get your speed back. Then if it over revs you can always add some weight to the stock clutch weights.

Thanks Knapp, but why do you think that will bring the speed back? I figured that adding this clutch setup was going to be better than stock?I'd put the stock stuff back in the clutches and see what happens. What are your RPM’s at when you’re pinned? You might have too much weight in the primary..not spinning high enough on top end. Happened to me last year. I had to lighten my weights in the primary.

When I did the RPM recall on the cluster it said 9250 but to be honest I haven’t purposely rolled into and out of a high speed run so the 9250 may have been from track spin. Next time out I will check it properly. What are your RPM’s at when you’re pinned? You might have too much weight in the primary..not spinning high enough on top end. Happened to me last year. Ya I did the same recall thing last year, and mine said that same number 9250, but I knew it was wrong cuz I was only seeing/spinning 8400 on my tach on the 270 SM tune.
You’re definitely not spinning 9250 on top, cuz if you were, you’d be seeing way more than 106 mph. Unless you’re belt is slipping big time..which will in turn create a lot of heat, which also is not good for anything except slow speeds and blown belts.
Next time you get into it, notice you’re R’s when you’re pegged..that’ll be telling.

What are you running for a tune and what top end are you seeing?
When I was spinning only 8400, I saw 116 mph on 270 Tune. After I lightened the weights it was a complete Rocket, but I never did get the chance to hold it wide open for a long enough period to see what I could ultimately get, but it was a night and say difference from when it was laboring at 8400.

I definitely expected much more. What were you running for clutching? And was the secondary spring at 3&1?When I was spinning only 8400, I saw 116 mph on 270 Tune. Dalton springs in both primary(black green) and secondary(black/orange. 41/35 Dalton helix, and STM Weights loaded to 78 grams. 78 grams was way to heavy for mine. So switched to the Dalton weights- QAY 70, and loaded them to 73.1 grams, and that did the trick! Secondary was wrapped 6-1.

You made a lot of changes at once. When you are not getting expected results you need to take a step back to what is a know setup. A 230HP setup will only slightly over rev on a stock clutch setup. Then you can go back and make one change at a time to improve the setup.

Do what MrKNAPP says first.
We need to know what the base is running mph & rpm's first.
This will tell if there is other issues first such as leaks or just a DUDD.
WINTER WOLF had his stock Winder dynoed at 180 hp, until they fixed a bunch of leaks, then he was 205ish.
ALL the adjusting & tuning would have got him nowhere if it stayed a DUDD like it was at first.
Once the baseline is known then as MrKNAPP says, start putting your goodies on.

I would go back to stock and see what happens also. Did you buy a clutch kit( Thunder Products) or did you just throw parts at it because you read it worked for someone else or is this the set up Precision recommend.
