Got a Prologger Boost now but this weekend an issue showed up. The boost display is reading -10 all the time. Same when sled is not running, at idle, or wide open etc. Im thinking this is an error reading showing up but cant find anything in the manual. Anyone ever run across this?

Thanx Tyler

Tyler, if this is happening when not seeing boost but changes to reflect boost pressure, then yes.
This is because the Prologger uses a GM Map Sensor so the readout is actually displaying absolute barometric pressure as well. Therefore, you'll see the readout change contantly with the change in barometric pressure and altitude.
To get the display to zero, you go into the settings and adjust the MAP / altitude figures to offset the atmosheric air pressure.

If it is reading -10Kpa all the time regardless of boost, it's not an error message. Check the boost line to the MAP sensor, or apply some shop air to the line and see if the display changes. If not then you have a signal issue or a bad connection in the connector at the MAP sensor.

Thanks for the reply. -10 is reading all the time. I will go thru the map settings and make sure something didnt accidentally get changed. I wasnt in there again since I set it up but who knows. I did unplug, and check the elec. connector to the map censor and it seemed fine but will look again. The sled seems to be performing about the same as the weekend before so Im pretty sure its seeing boost pressure but the shop air is a good idea.

Thanx again for the ideas.

Theorizing that another way to see if it's the sensor or not is to unplug the sensor and short the 5v reference voltage to the signal wire in the harness side connector, watch to see if the display changes.

Talked with Mac at MPI. The PLogger had an output issue. Little button pushing at Mac had it cleared up.

I have the same issue with my prologger and I was wondering if you did remember what Mac told you to do with it?
