Question before I ride on grass???

Hey guys...I have my trailer home for some minor repairs and I have scoped out a nice field near my house to do some runs on my sled. I was thinking of taking my machine out. I have never ridden on grass with my RX1 so I am curious how many 500 ft. runs I can do before she heats up and potentially shuts down on me? What do you guys do? I really just want to try out the machine (New Clutching from BBY) before I head up North in a month (I hope :lol: ). Thanks...RXWonder

i dont know but we made 5 about 500 ft runs on the rx 1 track ratcheted badly and the slides were melting badly plastic was everywhere but it was fun.Make sure you put something on them slides to keep them lubed and have fun

Tighten your secondary to 90 for the grass. Also, you will need to run your track pretty tight. As for runs, I would go 2 runs, then let it completely cool down...BBY

If its a little damp.... dont forget to clean your front heat exchanger... ours had a thick coating of mud as did the rest of the tunnel and exhaust.... what a mess... :roll:
