I can't take it no more. I have my 05' RX-1 sitting in the garage and all I want to do is take it on the grass just for a little trip around the yard. How bad is this for the sled? Should I do it?

As long as not abused I would think the only damage you could do is to your lawn.

Personally I bought my sled for snow and that's all it runs on.

If you had a neighbor that you were not exactly fond of it used to be fun just to get the old 2 stroke fired up with all the fogging oil still in her and send a huge smoke cloud drifting over to his property. Especially good on bbq. nights.

Thunder, it ran good. Lots of weight transfer!

Musky Hunter,,, Happy to hear about the weight transfer. That is one thing YAMAHA needed. We have a grass strip in back of my home. We can run up to 700 ft on it. It's going to be hard for me not to run it on the grass. A lot of guys say not to run them until you can put on 40 or more miles on the snow. But with a drag strip 100 ft from my garage I dont think I can hold back. When it gets down to 45 or 50 outside and with some help from a little rain Im just going to have to do it...
