I have a 2007 Apex RTX with 6,000 miles on it. The Ripsaw will not make it past this season and It will be time to update. I am thinking 1.25 predator with doo anti ratchet drivers. My question is did you loose any top end with these drivers?
I installed these drivers on my vector with a 1.25 ripsaw. At the same time I installed a Ulmer stage 3, lower top gear, different plugs, and windage plates and I lost 8 MPH. I am wondering if it were because of the drivers. Thanks

Did the Doo extroverts, Cobra track, and Pro X suspension all in one sweep. Lost nothing on top end - but what a difference down low! Cobra hooks big time! In the deeper loose stuff and on hardpack.

extroverts are more uneffecient than internals but I dont think they would be responsible for any noticeable top end loss unless driver alignment was off.

I've read that some of the aftermarket anti-ratchet drivers don't work very well and are inefficient.
The Skidoo ones that I am running seem to work very well. I didn't notice any loss in top end and my sled is still faster than all of my buddies Apex for some reason (and that is with the Skidoo anti-ratchet drivers - they are running stock drivers).

Awesome! For those who have the Cobra track, does it have a lot of side bite? Can it be slid around corners?

I bought the Cobra with the idea of having less side bite, and it does have a little less, but still nothing you're going to slide around a corner like a .91" or 1". If I had to describe it, I'd say maybe 20% less? So a little disappointing there.

I have the Whal Bros extros and 1.5 rip saw.
I've gained 2-3 mph on the top side

I think I'm going with the 1.25 Predator 6 pitch. I've heard they slide better than a ripsaw.
I have heard of no one having problems with the RTX's ratcheting. Why were you going to change drivers? And yest the extroverts to tend to lose a little on top!

that track will slow you down some though, its heavier than the ripsaw by a few lbs but it just doesnt mph as well. A rx-1 in the area had done the swap and lost 4-5mph on top. Ripsaw mph well because of the lug design not pushing alot of air like paddles do. It will be easier to slide the sled and will be better offtrail though.

I ran 118 on the gun with a predator 9833 and a little bit of clutch work. It was otherwise completely stock.
