Question on Dielectric tune-up grease

Opened all my electric connections on my sled since its apart and clean the female/male type plugs and ground connection with electronic CRC cleaner. Before i put the connections back together can i put a smedge of dielectric grease on the connections before pluging them in? will this effect electrical connections at all? Any other recommedations out there? Just looking to do preventative maintenance measures here. Thank you in advance for your help.

I've been using dielectric grease on all of my electrical connections for the past 20 years. It at least helps to prevent corrosion. My power block / terminal next to my battery was all corroded. I cleaned it out and used dielectric to prevent it from happening again.

Will not harm at all ! even if you put on a little extra. i put the stuff on every electrical connection . no issues

I use vaseline on all my electrical works just as well.

I use the stuff religiously. Especially on connections that are exposed to the elements. Namely the light plug on truck/trailer.

it will be fine with it in there but dielectric grease will help prevent corosion but will if anything help prevent electrical continuity many have been useing it and it is okay to use but there is better products out there wish i could find the old post on this was a guy who knew what seemed like everything about this subject.

I dont believe di-electric is conductive. Just put it on the outside of the commection to seal it.

oh god, not this again....it's NOT conductive! It's to seal out contaminants and prevent carbon tracking!!
