I was riding the fields and was coming across a road and BOOM caught a culvert with the right front SKI! I was only running about 20mph and it was a sudden stop. I went over the handle bars caught my leg on the handle bar and over the windshield I went. Big bruise on my leg but other than that I'm just fine, just a little heartbroke over my sled. Anyway, KUDO's to yamaha the right front A-Arm and all that is solid and intact no damage at all. Anyway, my question is when I went over the windshield 3 plastic screws popped out where the extra tall windshield is. How in the world is this going to hold again? Do I need the shroud the plastic screws go in or any other suggestions on a quick fix? I know those plastic screws are probably stripped out. Why would yamaha use plastic screws? I guess to save the windshields becuz my windshield didn't break.

0n my attak there is a small rubber pice in the shround with threads made into them, these can be poped out and you can use a pair of plyers to take out the broken screws. Man that sucks, but as long as your ok thats all that matters and thats why those screws are plastic, they brake instead of your windshield.
