Hopefully we don't loose to many of these, because they aren't cheap.

Went to the local dealer today to order a few spare's in case I lose one. Yami part want's $14.41 per screw for the side panel. .75 cents for each nylon washer. ...ouch - thats a very steap price.

If anyone comes across an alternative part, please post where one may find it.

Thanks.

Are there different thread sizes in these or lengths, I don't have my sled yet but would like to order some spairs ahead of time. If you can list the part #. Thanks.

Yes there are different sizes. I have not had a chance to measure and post which are the right ones. However other members are working on gathering info on this as well, so sit tight for a bit. One of us should have that info shortly.

Believe it or not, they don't fall out that easy. I would not worry too much about it.

Thanks Tork. Viper34 I guess I look at it as really cheap insurance that if one did pop out or fell in the snow and you had a hard time finding it when you have a panel off that it wouldn't be a big deal if ya have a couple in your tool box and on the sled.

i hope at $5.73 it comes with 1/2dz right? please tel me them are not $5.73 a per button

I received my Dzuz fasteners yesterday from www.racebolts.com Nice looking pieces! The main intent I have is to replace the button heads on the panel behind the headlight pod....

However, there is a problem. Being "totally" unfamiliar with these fasteners, I ordered the "long style" from racebolts. Right length, but the "thread" is waaaay different. The new ones will not work in the receptacle on our sleds. I'll call racebolts and probably order the receptacles they have listed....what's an additional $1.16!!?? :D

They sure "look" the same!

I wonder if Yamaha will cover these little parts. I've already seen the little washer fall off as I was pulling off the side panel, and it's only been off a couple of times. I don't think you're going to find that little nylon washer in the snow. I ordered a few of them and will try to match something up at the hardware store at that price.
