Just a quick dumb question, was staring at sled having a beer just now. Back in my past easier life, I had a R6 bike. I recall the alertnator charged the bike batter only above a certain RPM. Are the sleds different? If I fire it up from time to time, up to operating temps, then shut-er down...will it charge or does the sled have to be run?
edit - alternator/stator....knew what I meant

It won't charge back the amount of amps you took to start it in that short of time. Put a charger on it once in a while.

That stator it has doesn't put out a lot of amps as compared to a car or truck for sure. Starters draw a lot when an engine is cold.
