Hey guys,
First time posting here and hoping someone can help me with a project that I am working on. I'm building a buggy with a 2003 1000cc RX1 sled engine and am wondering if anyone knew if the exhaust headers from an R1 bolt up to an RX1 engine? It's my understanding that these engines are essentially the same, but looking at the exhaust headers, the flanges seem to be different styles and I am not sure of an R1 exhaust will simply bolt up in place of the "trumpets" of the RX1
And then if it is a simple bolt up, do I need to be concerned about overall length, etc? I plan to use the RX1 muffler to try and keep this as close to stock as possible as to not change engine performance.
