ra cable route help

I posted in the rs section and haven't had any help and assume the apex skid is the same as mine so here goes. There seems to be 2 hoops on the skid to support the ra cable but only one is used on mine. Is tjiz correct or should I figure out how to route it through both?

what do mean by hoops I tie the boot to protector
with cable tie. keep the boot tight as possible

The metal u shaped hoops...one is hardened steel attached to the plastic track rub things. The other is gray and the boot is already going through it.

Thanks yammy...that piece is a guide then not a hoop/holder.
