Well the Nytro keeps winning up in AK. More footage from Josh Eichenberg. Another cold weekend in Alaska heated up very quickly as Kris took to the track. The temp was around 10 degrees but the wind was bone chilling. The first race up was the 600 Pro class. They desided to run two heat races for every class, the heats were 4 laps and the finals were 6. Kris got a ok hole shot and was in second going into turn 1, but just like the last race the nytro was the first to clear the snow dust filled corner. Kris won both the heats by a good margin. Up next was the Pro Open class with more competion. With family friend and racer Chad Gueco on the track there was going to be some great racing. Kris and Chad both didnt get the best hole shot, putting Chad in 2nd and Kris in 4th. They made it though turn 1 and Chad was tagged by a Polaris on the first set of right handers. Kris was able to miss Chad by inches and stay on the track. But not for long, as Kris rounded the turn Billy Wilkes gave Kris a love tap with a ski to the shorts.LOL Kris was not pleased to say the least. Chad stayed on the track and was able to rejoin the leaders, but a few laps later, Chad said, what the hell, I might just as well give Josh something to film and so he did.Lol Chad had bad luck on turn #4 and lost it into the bank. But recoverd like a champ and finished the Race. After a few minutes in the pits the Eichenberg Race Team was able to get the Nyto repaired in prime fashion. Good work Roy Boy !!! And pit Captain Darrell Howard !!! Kris took back to the track a few races later and never looked back. Kris won the Pro Open and brought more yet another Checkered for Eichenberg Racing.
