Definitely not high on the coolness factor, but I understand the convenience of it.

Well, to be more accurate, he's a lurker. Been a member since 2003......

nice idea

Some good thought into this. This can start guys with some other idea's. For you guys who cut stuff down of other people's idea, we do not need to here your opinion untill you have something good to say. Lets see something you made.

This would really work for the people who like to go out once in a while and just crews around and enjoy a long day of sights.

I am sure a rack like that works better for storage than a new, shiny Yamaha accessory storage bag, especially in NF where one may have to go a few miles between fuel stops. It looks like he can fit a couple of gallons of fuel in it AND has a rack for overnight traveling or other items he wishes to store on his rig.

Well, maybe Yamaha does make a storage rack / fuel bag too, but his idea isn't much different than what I had planned for my Cat before I sold it...something that was all-purpose and could encompass many different overnight or carrying capabilities.

AND I would love a good storage rack on my Vector! The exhaust outlets, while extremely cool, make the rear area of my LTX tunnel useless for storage.

The thread crapping will stop. If you don't have anything nice to say........

Since the Boss is on duty ;)! I was wondering how are the tanks, and stored items going to stay in place at 70-90MPH. When you hit those bumps. Doesn't it become an issue with possibly loosing stuff? Any saftey issues with that style of gas tank and tipping the sled on a corner or through some fun stuff? Neat idea Hope the kit works well for you ;)!

:bling :letsnow:

Perhaps thats what the cords are for?!?! Something like below???

Some guys need to remember that not everyone rides balls out from corner to corner. These sleds get used as primary form of transportation during the winter in some locations. They also get used by guys going ice fishing, for example.

An FX Nytro as a fishing sled?????????????????????????????????

You're a funny guy. lol

You're the one riding it - if it works for you, then mission accomplished.

Look at the craftsmanship, it is a nicely made piece. When you think of it what are the guys options on that given sled? He obviously wanted to have 3-4 gallons of extra fuel and a place to strap a bag or?? With that being said what could he have made that would have any more curb appeal? I think it is done as well as possible and serves his needs. I have seen some things cobbled on to sleds and this is NOT one of them. Nice job!
