2021 polaris assault 850,18 sidewinder ltx,14 nitro xtx,06 apex rtx,
my first radar run.......put 48 chisel tooth and 144 30deg ice studs in my 03 shorty/ecp/evac/23-40 geared, speed sheave, team roller secondary,3400 miles on my yamaha belt, dirty clutches,7300 miles total on sled, they put me in the 800 single pipe class, was about 35 deg and a 25-35 mph head wind on strip,900 ft (supposed to be 1000 but they messed up measuring) i made a 94 and 95 mph run which were both good enough to take my class,i could have taken the 800 multi pipe class and the 900 stock class too but being a rookie at the whole deal i figured 1 1st place was a good start, the next closest un- turbo-ed rx1 was 91 and 92 with a 140 kid on it(turns out this was the one to beat in the county according to everyone around town) well i beat it, and i weigh 210,there was 1 bender turbo rx1 there, his best was 106,the first 50 ft werent too impressive but the last 850 were  wow that thing turned on,i think there is a lot of room for improvement with suspension set up seeing how it held the skis a good 8-10 inches off the ground til 70mph,but for my first attempt,it went well,95 on the radar and 108 on the dream meter at the line, quite a difference,a lot of people were suprised to see the rx1 win but ive been telling my buddies on equal gground the rx1 will be right there and turns out i was right, this thing really turns on and my thanks go out to Freddie once again

Awesome Job!! :) Congradulations is in order. :D It is always nice to hear about the RX-1's beating up on their competition. :P I wish I would have been able to go. Sounds like you have your machine tuned in pretty well. Are the trails up their still good to ride or has the snow left like down here?

hey haulic.......trails are holding up well we went 160 miles on thurs, washburn to ashland to portage to eagle lake then across to long lake ,the power lines were the best they have been all year,i couldnt believe it,big ride planned for sat, leaving washburn headed to allagash then st pamphile i think if all the polaris's are still running up to the camp lol my buddy was dropping his off at audiberts today in ft kent, axle shaft bolt came out in chaincase,a little dirt here and there but if you want to ride its really pretty good, sounds like a storm headed your way tonight and tomorrow anyway ,its not over yet, rode 235 miles on april 7th last year so dont give up yet

Riding is over this year for me. I blew out my achillas Tendon three weeks ago, House bound for about 3 months is what the doctor is telling me. I can only dream about riding right now. I have been spending alot time on this nice site though. I have some big plans for my machine next year. Have fun riding and let me know every now and then how the trails are going. We just got about 7 inches of snow on the ground right now and more to come.

welterracer,,,,4 f7 from 90 -94 mph,a machz 780 got 87-89,xc800 single slp pipe kit got 92-93,xc 800 with twin pipes got 95 but was in a different class,3 rx-1 got from 89-92,03 zr900 got 93,Harrys motor sports f7 got 91-92 and their 04zr900 got 94,rx1 turbo got 100-106,just a couple rev 800 think they were mid 80's,hi speed was 122 on a mod, several other mods from 110-119,head wind was really bad 25-35mph all day,my class was from 83-91 mph for the most part,my buddies f7 got 94 once and 91-92 the rest but he weighs about 145 and im 210,i wanted him to run mine but he didnt want to,i think he knew what the result would have been probably around 97 mph,Rogers sport center gave me a few pointer on suspension so the next time out should be a better result also, off the line to 70mph the skis never touched a thing but air,but for my first time out i did real well

A friend of mine, Power-Rush's dad, just ordered the 05 RX-1 through Rogers. He ordered the Candy Apple Red. I can't wait until next year because I am sure he will let me take it for a spin since I let him take mine out this year. I really want to see the difference in the suspensions. He tried out power-rush's warrior and my Rx-1 and decided to go with the RX-1. He thought he RX-1 handled better through the twisties. I tried out power-rush's warrior and it has a very nice suspension and I thought handled the bumps alot better and seemed more stable than my RX-1.
