RADAR #'s for APEX ? who's running what?

There seems to be alot of 'yak' about this DREAM-METER speedo issue on the new APEX, yet we're not seeing alot of legitimate info on "Actual" times being run .. on GPS/Stalker Radar etc.

Who's running what... and please tell us how you got there - ie, stock? mods? speedtrack? what traction products , etc.


Hopefully this will make for an interesting thread :Rockon:
 

Hi again fxrf7 i just looked up the page of sleds at rib lake last weekend take a look,this was there 2nd week of running nothing running 125 yet but closing in on it,with a couple at 122 on the gun.. ;)!
 
that's great to hear.. we should have someone post that info over on our site, as a MACH Z vs APEX rivalry seems to be in full "brew"

It's not easy keeping this tiny single pipe twin in front of both the new MACH and APEX - I'll surely be sandwiched between the two Goliath's this winter .................... and "LOVING IT"

We're heaing top #'s for this sled is only 118mph

Anyone beating that number yet?
 
I got 97 MPH at 800 feet on the GPS with dreamometer at 105 MPH... didn't have enough room to go faster and a bit of loose snow...

that's good.... and sounds like you have the most accurate speedo L! Bizarre how a $14,000 CAD sled can come with such an out of wack... yet the KooLest LOOKING guage cluster.
 
bone stock attak i got 108 on gps on a snow covered county road, not that long of a run so im sure it could get more on a longer run and maybe a more hardpacked road..

Sorry to be a stick in the mud, but is it really necessary to post pics like that? I happen to do the majority of my surfing at work and unless there's a specific warning on unsuitable material, then I'll most likely read it (afterall, this is a sledding site). My company's fired folks for inappropriate viewing of material on the net, and I'd just as soon keep my job. Something like that is more suited to the Hardcoresledder Forum; a site I avoid while on duty.

Yea Maddog24, you're right. But I happen to have one of those 'great' jobs many could only wish to have. That's not the point. If I wanted to see 'chicks', I'd be on other sites. I value this site for what it is; a valuable Yamaha snowmobiling site, not a place to see half dressed women.

This garbage has been discussed before; keep the riffraff on the other deadbeat sled sites and lets stick to information that's meaningful to the main subject.....Snowmobiles!

Wait a minute,what pic is this guy getting so upset about,i am at work right now to,and if its considered porn it gets blocked,but to say you cant have some naked chicks at totallyamaha is BS they have an adult section,calm your jets a little,and have a Merry Christmas besides its all in fun,right..... :moon:
