Radiator brackets cracked, anyone else?

Noticed when I was getting my sled ready for the season that my radiator brackets were cracked where the brackets bolt to the frame. So I called up the dealer and ordered new brackets, $12.?? a piece, no big deal. Just last night I was putting them on an noticed that the new brackets are about 3 times thicker than the orginal ones. So this makes me think that Yamaha has had a problem with them cracking, but I have never read anything on here about that. So are there others out there that have cracked too or has nobody checked theirs.

I have read some posts here on the brackets cracking. I'll definitely look at my sled closely this weekend.

On my APEX RTX I had two new radiators put in do to this all pay for my yamaha

I'd rather pay $25 than have my sled sit at the dealer for a week or two (outside) waiting for their lead tech (11th grade high school mechanic) wrench on it. Plus I'm not sure if my 08 even has warranty?

Yep, mine were cracked right at the bolts, both sides.. Covered under warranty

Just checked the Yamaha part fiche.
2010 models got the new brackets.

2008 and 2009 Nytro's will be prone to cracking.
