Rad mounting brackets

Wuz just putting plastics back on after putting sub-frame back on after installing/welding grizz's stiff'ner kit for my 08 sub-frame.

It was then that I noticed that the rad mounting brackets had a broken arm both sides. Good news, the oil res welds are still holding, so back to the tig machine for some more action.

Check your #*$&@ boyz, its goes south when your not looking!

Mine have been broken like that for years. Probably 10000 kms. lol. No issues yet.

I had one broken, replaced it a few years ago doing my preseason maintenance.

What did it cost if I may ask?

I'm not sure now but I don't think it was very expensive.

Yamaha updated the brackets. New ones are now thicker. They are not expensive.

good to know thank you for the info. I just tig welded mine so I'm good for now.
