I'm getting excited gearing up for the soon to start season... so I figured some pictures are in order. These are 18.8" Fox floats with a 6.2" stroke... combined with the MPI 45" arms they give the front suspension 12" of measured travel. The floats will get RX-1 valving.

Looks like an awesome set up in front...what about the rear skid now?

The Expert X is on the way... it may get a Fox Float or two, also.

Now thats the kind of angle on the arms I am looking for. Nice job. Wish they all came like that from the factory.

I guess I am just used to looking at Ski Doo's X model when side by side with my Vector. Makes my front end look pretty weak in comparison with the 9" versus 15+

On the RX1's, we always lowered the front end to minimum preload in order to improve cornering (lower COG). I would think that with that extra height, it would really want to tip over - unless is got a LOT of sag, which I suppose is possible with the airshocks.
Obviously it will sit lower, that is full droop, damper fully extended... which is good, because the outer TRE/Heim joint is very close to bind. The sooner the ski touches, the sooner I have control, and the sooner it begins absorbing the moguls. I will adjust the ride height to suit the required handling and bump busting ability. This also why I asked (over in mod suspension) if anyone had messed with the oil volume in the air chamber of the Float. More oil = taller ride height at less pressure... if I understand correctly, anyway. Also, the air spring curve rate can be messed with a bit by changing that volume.
Western Massachusetts trails get the crap kicked out of them, so one needs a good bump suspension, yet many are single track and very twisty.
