My Dad has a 2005 Rage, Woody's Doolies, 2,000 miles. The back 25% of the carbides are worn flat, the front portion look like they are brand new. Everything is stock, he went with the heavy spring this year. A wink over 250 lbs w/o gear. Any thoughts? This seems contrary to the common front bias, these skis are pushing down way more in the back than in the front. All opinions appreciated

I guess you could try shimming the front part of the ski rubbers then.

Park the sled on a flat concrete floor and see how the carbides lie on the ground.

Does adjusting the transfer effect which portion of the ski wears first or is all about the shim??
