Hello everyone. I have sold my old snowmobile (MXZ700 -00) and will buy a new one this weekend when it´s the big "Snowmobile Day" in Sweden where I live. I have to decide if I´m going to buy a Yamaha Rage/Warrior or a Ski-Doo Renegade 600 SDI. Please let me know what´s good and what´s bad with Rage/Vector/Warrior. I´m 35 years old, sometimes my 5 year old son use to follow me. I´m an "allround-driver". Looking forward to interesting information, thank´s. PS! here in Sweden the gas cost´s more than 5 dollars a gallon. How´s the fuel consumtion for Rage/Warrior/Renegade?

Fuel consumption:
Rage: Very low,
Warrior: Low,
Renegade: Bank breaker.

Performance:
Warrior: Very fast,
Rage: Highly respectable,
Renegade: Embarassing (if you own one).

Stink:
Rage: None,
Warrior: None,
Renegade: Its a good thing you're ALREADY MARRIED.

Maintenance:
Rage: Tuneup in 25000 miles,
Warrior: Tuneup in 25000 miles,
Renegade: Rebuild engine annually.

It keeps going like this.

I have an 04 warrior and it's the best sled I have ever owned.
In stock form it is very capable! With some tweaking it will leave those big boy stinkers behind.
Beautifully engineered sled with awesome power, comfort, reliability and it's economical. I was getting much better gas mileage than my friends 500 Arctic Cat! :yam:
I'm sure the Rage is also a good choice :4STroke:

I'm not at all interested in a 2 stroke sled anymore! My new saying is "NEVERMORE" :tg: "NEVERMORE"

I have an 04' warrior and will never go back to a two stroke :4STroke:
If I was to purchase a new sled this year it would probably be an RS model (lighter weight, better fuel milage, and I was told it's almost as fast as the RX-1 up to about 70-80mph). I spoke to another warrior owner last year who was riding with a REV 600 SDI and he said they were very close at the pumps and the warrior wasn't too much faster in a straight line. But you still come out ahead with the 4 stroke with reliability alone. If it was me I'd get the 4 stroke (either one's awsome) and wouldn't look back.

Just my opinions, hope they help
